Hi there! My name is Tristan, thank you for visiting!
I have been living here at the Indraloka Animal Sanctuary for 7 years and this is my story.
Meet Tristan
Tristan belonged to a loving family that faced tragedy when the father was diagnosed with cancer and given only months to live. Desperately, he set out to ease his wife’s responsibilities so that she could manage things after he was gone. The sanctuary only accepts un-adoptable animals from rescue organizations and yet, when we were approached and asked to help, we decided to make an exception.
When he first came to us, Tristan and our Rottweiler puppy developed a strong affection. So, we named them Tristan and Isolde, after the tragic tale of star-crossed love.
